Oil Collection Lids

Stops Oil Theft!  While we can't guarantee a stop to oil theft, these lids help stop oil theft if you lock it onto your barrel with the option barrel lock.  Once locked on, there is no way to get a hose into this barrel to pump it out.  And the stout ring (not included) prevents prying up a side. 

We also designed these to leak a lot if someone try's to dolly away the barrel with this lid on it, preventing theft of the whole thing. But, you can remove the filter lid, and pump it yourself.  Or replace the filter lid with the normal barrel lid, and dolly it away.  Other than sheer destruction of the barrel lid, no one will be stealing your oil any longer.

These lids will also Pre-filter your oil at the restaurant so you no longer get those beer bottles, peanuts, paper bags, fish heads, etc.  Also great for pre-filtering oil at home.

The restaurant can tell when the barrel is about 3/4 full as the oil will start showing above the perforated screen.

Built from Heavy 14 Gauge steel and painted black for long life.  Comes with the lid (shown in black), the Yellow, weather resistant vinyl labels, including one with your phone #.  Barrels, locking rings and optional Barrel lock not included.

To secure it on the barrel requires the Heavy Duty barrels with the ring that is secured by a heavy duty bolt.  (see photo below left)  Or you can just set it on any barrel if you're not worried about theft. 

Where to get these barrels? We ran a 'wanted ad' and got 7 sources.  Try paint supply stores (where we got these),  wineries, etc.  Also foam insulation companies & spray on bed liners (both are 2 part chemicals, so are liquid in the barrel) have barrels. Or run an ad like we did.

When placed over the locking bolt on your barrel, this locking device prevents access to the bolt head, preventing someone from removing the barrel ring without your permission.  Requires the Heavy Duty barrels with the ring that is secured by a heavy duty bolt.  (see photo below left)

Comes with the locking tube in black.  You supply the lock, locking ring and bolt.

Need to remove the fittings from your drums or barrels?  This is the tool.  It even has a large 1 1/2" hex nut type opening for loosening fittings of that size.

Actual timer looks almost exactly like this, but is a 4 hour timer.

Perfect for controlling your processor pump.  You can set it for any time from 1-4 hours and it will shut your pump off for you.  Mounted in a wall panel this could also be used to control other devices like your bubbler pump, etc.

Perfect for installing your processor pump timer in.  Has 3 3/4" threaded openings making it easy to install on a threaded pipe, etc.  Comes with threaded plugs for the remaining openings.  Very sturdy. 

These are actually 32 oz bottles which equals .95 liters, so they work for liter size bottles.

These are great for making a small test batch of biodiesel as they are crystal clear, allowing you to easily see what's happening inside.  They are also good for making up your liter batch of reference solution.  We use these all the time.  You'll even see them in our photo gallery as we collect samples in them for pictures and future reference.  Comes with a lid.

Bottles are lightweight and made tough to be virtually unbreakable. Great for a variety of uses and applications.

In case you didn't know it, the catalyst (Lye or KOH) is VERY hygroscopic meaning it will absorb a lot of moisture rapidly.  This can quickly ruin your catalyst.  Left exposed for only a very short time it can absorb so much moisture that it forms water droplets.  

Made of Heavy duty, high density polyethylene construction these create a leak-proof airtight seal. Simply tap on the adapter with a rubber mallet (includes rubber gasket) and screw inner cover on. Fits 3.5 to 6 gallon plastic pails.  If you buy your catalyst in 50lb bags, try finding 3.5 gallon buckets as 2 of those hold the catalyst best.  You want minimal air in the buckets to avoid moisture absorption.  Then just use 1 until it's empty.  This keeps one totally sealed and dry.

If you're storing 50lb bags of catalyst, you need these.  Comes with an adapter ring & the screw on lid, in various colors. (no bucket included)

Actual mister in use

This is the same mister we now use on all of our biodiesel processors.  This mister is really great for mist washing your biodiesel.  Here's some reasons why:

• It's Brass, so it wont rust
• This one head puts out as much as 4-5 of the Arizona Mister type heads
• Because it uses only 1 mister, the opening is larger so it rarely clogs

Comes with an adjustable air pump, a flexible, circular air bubbler (6" diameter), and a much Improved air bubbler hose than others sell (8 ft long).  The standard air hose others sell, works, but after just 4-5 batches the hose starts to harden and gets very stiff, requiring frequent replacement.  Although they don't cost much, it's a hassle. 

In our Exclusive Deluxe Air bubbler kit we include an air line that will last at least 10 times as long, maybe indefinitely.  We haven't had one break down yet in over a year of testing.  And we are the only ones providing this circular, handmade air bubbler that puts out the finest air bubbles of any bubbler.  And it lasts a long time also.

Drum Band Heater -

Here's a simple way to heat your oil.  To use this heater simply wrap it around your STEEL barrel, then plug it into the wall outlet, set the thermostat and you're oil will begin heating.

Note: these can be stacked to decrease overall heating time if desired.

This is an open topped 210 gallon polyethylene drying tank.  This is a little quicker to dry in since you can dry up to about 160 gallons at once.

This is a fuel Microbiocide which will kill bacteria and fungi along with breaking up sludge and slime in your fuel tank.  Highly recommended for high mileage diesels, those that only fill up with a half tank of fuel a lot, or for anyone concerned about bacteria problems in their fuel.

We recommend running some every 10 tank fulls or so just to be safe.  This is cheap insurance against bacteria problems.

This is the same insulation we use on our processors.  It is MUCH better than what you can find locally.  We special order this high tech insulation which is rated at R-14, double that of the popular foil insulation which LOOKS like this brand, but is rated at only R-7.
