Cone bottomed reactor -
with removable lid. Commercial grade, chemically resistant
Polyethylene with U.V. inhibitors rated to 140 degrees
continuous. Screw on lid with seals keeps fumes in the tank, but
allows you to look in, or add chemicals through the top. This
style drains well due to the conical bottom.

Factory built, Sturdy Metal stands
for all tanks. No homemade stands with light duty casters
here.

A High capacity Processing pump (720 gph vs 330 in other systems). The higher flow ensures more
complete mixing of the methoxide and oil via higher pump flow rate.
Slower pumps allow the mixture to come out of separation allowing
incomplete reactions.

Spark free Methanol transfer

allows you to pump your methanol from a drum into your methoxide
mixer with no siphoning or manual labor. Others have you
siphon pump it in which could take 20 minutes of hand siphoning.

Methanol venting & vent
hose -
Our processor is vented to the outdoors via a vent fitting and vent
hose. This helps minimize exposure to methanol fumes or any
buildup of fumes in the work area.

4 Hour pump timer -
Allows more flexibility in how long you run your pump.
Especially handy for drying the finished fuel.

Titration testing kit - Comes with
a complete Titration testing setup using accurate
measuring tools such as graduated cylinders, beakers, etc (very

An air compressor
(if it has an air tank, it's probably large enough. Must be
regulated air pressure)

chemicals, preferrably KOH &
the methanol (We show you where to find this
on our members only website)

small amount of Isopropyl alchohol, 90% or better

New or used
oil (we show you how to get the oil, it's not that hard)

Barrel heater wiring
(to wire the heating elements) Or inquire about an optional band
heater which requires no wiring

And
a fuel dispensing pump (to fill your vehicle). Can be as
simple as a $20.00 hand pump, an $80.00 air pump or a Fill Rite type
pump. You can even dispense it from 5 gallon fuel cans.

You
may also need a few other minor items such as rags, hand cleaner,
etc.

gallon steel barrels to put the heating element in (usually found for
free).

Polyethylene
or steel drums for oil collection & storage. You can use
some to store the fuel in, or store it in the processor with no
problems. Figure on a total of about 3-4 barrels
for smaller systems & up to 10-15 for larger systems if you
leave the barrels at your restaurants.
Most of the time you can find drums for free. Just ask around, try
your chemical supply company, ask who supplies chemicals to your local
car washes as they use poly drums, or look in the phone book under
containers, or drums, barrels, etc. You can also run a wanted ad.
That worked for us on the steel barrels.

Shop Around
We understand price, we all want to save money. But if you're
shopping around, and find a lower price somewhere else it's probably
because they use lower grade materials, or their design is to simple
leading to incomplete reactions, or they don't include a lot of the
items you actually need to make biodiesel. We include a LOT of
extra items. But you need them, so why make you try and figure
that out after you buy a processor, and why make you do all the running
around to get them.
So Ask yourself This - Do they include the
following -

Unlimited customer
service after the sale (are they even a full time biodiesel
manufacturer?)

PVC or Brass ball
valves? (PVC valves have a really bad rep for failures)

Heavy wall hoses (the
ones you buy at Home Depot are much thinner than ours. Ours
last a long time & are safer)

Heavy duty, durable
black iron fittings instead of all plastic?

Full Drain tanks?
(NOTE, not all cone bottom tanks are full drain. Ours are made
especially to be 100% draining)

INSULATED TANKS?
Without heat the reaction can stop early, but you won't know it
until 10 - 30,000 miles down the road.

A way to heat the oil?
Or is that an expensive option?

A 2 stage water washing
system?

A way to DRY the fuel
after washing?

A filter to filter the
used oil before using it?

A pump that flows more
than 320 gph? (That's to slow to get the job done)
